Christmas Lunch on Jesus (CLOJ 2024)
We are proud to be partnering again this year with Christmas Lunch on Jesus (CLOJ 2024).
CLOJ is a heartfelt Christmas outreach project that delivers FREE Christmas hampers to residents who might otherwise go without a hot Christmas lunch.
Each hamper contains everything needed to prepare a traditional Christmas meal, spreading the festive cheer and warmth to those who need it most.
As a group of Christian Churches in the Borough, Christmas holds a deep significance. Helping those who struggle during this season is a way we share the love of God in practical ways. Beyond Christmas, we work with local debt counseling services (CAP) and food banks to provide ongoing support for families in need. While we aim to bring joy during the holiday, we understand the importance of addressing long-term challenges.
Foodbank Holiday Hours
Our Foodbank will remain open throughout the Christmas period on Thursdays, except for Boxing Day, 26th December. If you’re in need, please don’t hesitate to visit.
MMA Sessions
MMA sessions will continue on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Friday, with a short break on Christmas Day, 25th December.
Christmas Lunch Club
Join us for the Christmas Lunch Club on Monday, 23rd December, and Tuesday, 24th December. This special event will include:
- Sports activities
- Christmas decoration-making
- Festive party games
- A delicious Christmas dinner
