Exciting News We’re Moving!

The Rainbow Centre Barnet is delighted to announce that we are moving to a new home! While our address is changing, please be assured that all of our events, activities, and services will remain the same.

We will continue to be the same vibrant hub for our community, just from a new location.

You can find us at our new location from the 16th of December, until then we are still at our original site.

Finding Your Way to Our New Hub

Its just an 8 minute walk from our old location:

We want to make sure everyone can find us easily at our new location. Here are the best routes from some key points:

From Barnet High Street:

  • It’s about a 15-20 minute walk.
  • Start walking south on the High Street (which is the A1000).
  • Continue straight, following the road as it becomes Barnet Hill.
  • Turn right onto Underhill.
  • Turn left onto Westcombe Drive.
  • Turn right onto Priory Grove.
  • The Scout Hut will be on your right.

From High Barnet Train Station

  • From the station, head south towards Barnet Hill (the A1000).
  • Turn left onto Barnet Hill and follow the road.
  • Take a slight right to continue on Barnet Hill.
  • Turn right onto Underhill.
  • Turn left onto Westcombe Drive.
  • Continue on Westcombe Drive to find the Scout Hut.

From the Dollis Valley Estate:

  • The walk is approximately 11 minutes.
  • Start by heading west from Mill Bridge.
  • Turn left onto Mill Bridge and follow it briefly.
  • Turn left onto Dollis Valley Way.
  • Shortly after, turn right towards Crocus Field.
  • Turn left onto Crocus Field and follow it as it bends to the left.
  • Turn left onto Barnet Lane.
  • Turn right onto Priory Grove.
  • Continue on Priory Grove to find the Scout Hut.

By Bus:

The new location is very well connected by bus. The following routes have stops a short walk from the Scout Hut:

  • 307: This bus runs from Barnet Hospital to Brimsdown. Alight at the “Underhill” stop and walk for 4 minutes.
  • 263,107,326: This bus runs from Barnet High street. Alight at the “Potters Lane (Stop A) and walk down Westcombe Drive.

Both of these services provide excellent links to the new centre.
