About us

Welcome to the Rainbow Centre, your vibrant community hub in the heart of Barnet. Our mission is to create a warm and inclusive space where individuals from all walks of life can come together, connect, and thrive. At the Rainbow Centre, we believe in the power of community, and our diverse range of services and activities are designed to support and uplift our local residents.

With around 400 individuals supported each year and 300 weekly visits to our centre, the Rainbow Centre remains dedicated to creating positive change in the lives of those we serve. Our team of passionate volunteers, experienced staff, and enthusiastic community members work together to make the Rainbow Centre a place of belonging, support, and growth.

Join us at the Rainbow Centre, where everyone is welcome, and together, we can build a stronger and more connected community. Whether you’re seeking support, looking for enriching activities, or simply want to be part of a welcoming community, we look forward to having you with us on this exciting journey. Together, we’ll paint a vibrant tapestry of unity and harmony at the Rainbow Centre.

The Rainbow Centre User Group is a not-for-profit CIC; Barnet Community Projects is a registered charity. Neither receives regular funding from Barnet Council to run the centre. We raise funds from trusts, foundations, donors and room hire to keep the centre open and thriving.

You can read annual reports about our services and activities at the centre here.

We are grateful for the funders who make our work possible:
