Spreading Joy at Rainbow Centre Barnet!
2024 wrapped up with a bang here at Rainbow Centre Barnet, as we celebrated a season filled with parties, laughter, and festive fun for our staff, volunteers, and young people. Let’s take a moment to relive the highlights of this heartwarming holiday season.
A Toast to Our Foodbank Heroes 🥂

The celebrations kicked off with a well-deserved night out for our incredible Foodbank staff and volunteers. Thanks to the generosity of the Hadley Trust, we gathered at the Railway Bell in Barnet for an evening of good food, great company, and plenty of holiday spirit. It was a small token of appreciation for the big difference this team makes year-round.
Festive Fun at the Christmas Lunch Club 🎁

The merriment didn’t stop there! Over two magical days, our children and young people joined in for some festive cheer at the Christmas Lunch Club. From sparkling decorations to giggles over traditional party games like pass the parcel and musical statues, the holiday spirit was truly in the air.
A Christmas Eve to Remember 🌟

The grand finale came on Christmas Eve, when we pulled out all the stops! A delicious roast dinner with all the trimmings brought everyone together for a proper festive feast. But the true stars of the day? The amazing gifts for all the children, kindly donated by our generous friends at local pubs, the Sebright Arms and the Lord Kitchener. The joy on the kids’ faces as they unwrapped their presents was priceless and the perfect way to close out the year.
Thank You to Our Community ❤️
A huge thank-you goes to everyone who helped make this Christmas season so special—from our volunteers staff and trustees, to the wonderful local businesses and donors who spread so much joy. Together, we created memories that will last a lifetime.
Here’s to an even brighter 2025, filled with more laughter, love, and community spirit. Happy New Year from all of us at Rainbow Centre Barnet!
