<\/figure>\n\n\n\nFrom the start, the outdoor activities were a hit. The kids enjoyed\u00a0basketball, flag American football and rugby, and even took part in some nostalgic fun with\u00a0hula hooping and hopscotch. Indoors, there was no shortage of creative and stimulating activities. The children engaged in\u00a0colouring, Uno, chess, and\u00a0draughts, with opportunities for STEM-related crafts like colouring roses for wall displays and making\u00a0Hama bead\u00a0designs. Meals were a highlight of the day, with delicious, homemade dishes prepared by our talented resident chef,\u00a0Lucas. On the 30th of July, the children feasted on\u00a0meatballs, mashed potatoes, peas, and topped it all off with\u00a0apple crumble and cream. Another memorable day, the 12th of August, featured\u00a0rice with meat and vegetable sauce, followed by the ever-popular\u00a0waffles with fruit and ice cream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The summer was filled with fun, and the program wouldn\u2019t have been complete without some special trips! We ventured to\u00a0Gulliver\u2019s Land\u00a0in Milton Keynes and spent a sunny day at the seaside in\u00a0Walton-on-the-Naze, where the children built sandcastles and splashed in the waves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We couldn\u2019t have done it without our incredible team. Special thanks go to Anne (Coordinator), Dee (Sports Coordinator), our fantastic coaches Collins, Shak, and Deshawn, and our dedicated junior leaders Ellis, Eloise, and Maddie.
