BCP delivering NFL in schools across Barnet

At the Copthall Leisure Centre, BCP Director Steve Verrall and NFL Flag coordinator Denapoli Williams, alongside representatives from Saracens, Age UK, and several other prominent organizations, joined hands to celebrate the recent National Fitness Day event. The gathering highlighted BCP’s outstanding efforts in delivering NFL Flag American football in seven schools across the borough, engaging with over 150 young people. The program, which commenced in September, was made possible by the NFL UK Foundation, with valuable assistance from the Young Barnet Foundation in promoting the opportunity to local schools throughout the borough. This exciting program is set to continue until the end of March 2024, offering numerous benefits for young athletes and the community alike.

The NFL Flag American football program is an exciting initiative that brings the love of the sport to a younger audience.
